Abstract

In this article, we intend to verify the difficulties, doubts and incapacities found to form young and adult readers who are out of age, with an appropriate profile of students of this school level, who for economic reasons make the school space a refuge, where they seek hide their true identity when leaving their home to join other groups, without getting any, encouragement from the family and nor have life goals, thrown into prostitution, drugs and alcoholism, living on the margins of society. Based on these difficulties, the proposal of this article is to dialogue with students and teachers in the area of human beings, in order to renew them, in addition to introducing new educational practices that lead to the formation of readers who are capable of acting in the society in which they are inserted. This information was obtained through the collection of personal data, ideas and interviews with everyone involved in the school process, so that we could elaborate a theme to be presented, thus confirming that reading together with education promotes citizenship, stimulates the production of knowledge and democratizes access to information, knowledge and social emancipation.
