Abstract

Education needs to recognize, in all human beings, the capacity to evolve, says Orrú. Based on this speech, this paper aims to present some of the main challenges, difficulties, discredit, barriers and prejudices faced by teachers in the teaching process of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD. Reflecting about this, even in the face of difficulties in vocational training, a precise and rapid diagnosis, the support of the family and the school in the process of children's literacy can modify their training and thus, reinforce the autonomy access. In addition to highlighting the importance of specialized professionals, who can stimulate biopsychosocial development and observe all the difficulties that these may have on a daily basis, thus enabling an effective process of inclusion in the school environment and society as a whole.
