Abstract

Talking about leadership, is to enter into one of the critical factors central to the success of organizations, which is why it is widely studied, however, its principles or keys are minimally applied. From this reality, this document has as its central objective, to make certain reflections on the phenomenon of leadership, placing emphasis on some practices of the animal world, which could be replicated in the actions of people who exercise managerial roles in university government. The essay format is used, since a topic of interest is developed in a free and personal manner, but backed by secondary sources of information. It is concluded that it is possible to extrapolate certain actions that occur in the animal nature, towards management practices in the university administration and in this way positioning themselves not only at the forefront of theoretical knowledge, but also in organizational praxis
