Abstract

The socio-labor and therefore economic situation of Spain, is given by a series of characteristics: gender and social gap, unemployment rate that is gradually reducing without generating quality employment, negative demographic rate, loss of active population young and highly qualified, public investment every day more reduced in education, health, research, etc., also adding the lack of continuity, review, research, specialization so that its response is adequate to the present needs of citizenship, structuring and investment in active employment policies - Professional Orientation - (essential throughout the life of people for their proper integration into society). Need to articulate a professional guidance adjusted and contextualized to the needs of a technological and globalizing society.
