BUSINESS DECISION-MAKING IN ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY

In this paper analyzes the factors influencing business decision making in economic uncertainty, identifying the aspects that affect top managers in order to find a guide that allows the establishment of strategies in a turbulent panorama and contributes to their business development. A broad theoretical information about decision-making, economic uncertainty and adequate business management has been sought, leading to a clearer picture of the relevant aspects of decision making in economic uncertainty. The results allow to visualize a preamble on the way in which the strategic panorama in economic uncertainty must be visualized to make business decisions, which leads to a second investigation with a more practical methodology. The paper includes implications for the development of a tool to guide senior managers to make sound decisions in times of economic uncertainty, that do not affect social welfare in economic uncertainty, safeguarding in all aspects their human talent and indirectly, the people on whom their employees depend; as well as take advantage of opportunities that arise in chaotic times.
