KNOWLEDGE OF YOUTH ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE, ONE OF THE MAIN PROBLEMS OF OUR SOCIETY

Abstract

Climate change is one of the most urgent challenges facing our society. Scientific reports that the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has been making public in recent years, confirm the seriousness of the matter and the urgency to intervene against this phenomenon. University students, as members of society, also play an important role to fight this threat. For this reason, we wanted to know whether the information they have received about the possible causes and effects of climate change makes them true experts on the subject or, on the contrary, leads them to erroneous preconceptions.
