The finality of the present work was to perform a comparative study at level of linguistics politic and the educational systems in Ontario in Canada and Asturias in Spain. Canada was chosen for being a country where French and English coexist as official languages and for being always on the first positions, in terms of academic results of the evaluation (PISA), which evaluates the quality, equity and efficiency of educational systems.
