Abstract

The use of three-dimensional simulations in architectural design is due to several potential benefits that these information modeling tools can bring. Among them is the simulation of three-dimensional interactive models that can aid in the creation and understanding of simple and complex objects. The present article intends to demonstrate the relevance of simulated three-dimensional environments in the teaching and learning process of technical drawing. From the application of this tool in the discipline of Technical Design for students of the courses of Geology, Production Engineering and Transport Engineering of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), we intend to bring a reflection on the use of technologies that aid the process of teaching learning from the understanding of the student's reality and his previous knowledge in the theoretical and practical fields.
