Abstract

The objective was to understand the multi-causes and conditions of sick leave of teachers in the early years of elementary school, in a city of the state of PE, observing the physical, psychological and social aspects in the scenario of teaching practice. Through a qualitative and quantitative research, using questionnaires, it was intended to relate the diagnoses that cause the leaves and their causes. The peculiarities of teaching among the main producers of illness were identified, the diagnoses of psychological and physical disorders as the most recurrent and the need for the implementation of public policies that pay attention to the organization of the teaching work structure and that attend, treat and take care of this worker. , the foundation of education, become indispensable.
