THE TEACHER LOOK AT BILINGUALISM IN CHILDREN

This article presents reflections on the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language in childhood, addressing different aspects of exposure to this foreign language even in the first years of the child's life. Thus, through the exposition of different theories about child bilingualism, studies on age and learning, methods of teaching the foreign language and a qualitative research carried out among professionals working with bilingual education may reflect on the benefits and complexities of the teaching of the foreign language in the early ages, the facilities that this early learning can develop in the academic and social life of the child and also analyze the effective ways of teaching the foreign language to children.
