Abstract

Man has been typified as the causal factor of intrafamily violence; the woman has been socially attributed the role of permanent victim. The laws and the constitution protect and protect the woman, who is considered to be a sensitive and vulnerable being and who is also protected by judges and authorities, who maintain prejudices without taking into account the origin of the aggression. Objective. Demonstrate the attitude and participation of women in an act of provocation to man; Determine which context is most affected in their behavior, and why they stay in that circle of violence. Methodology. It is a qualitative-quantitative research, based on an in-depth interview and a biography. A questionnaire validated by expert judgment is used as an instrument; Four categories are established that determine the influence of violence on the context in which man develops. Results The woman participates in the discussion in the couple with verbal aggression that lead to psychological damage, most of them who present complaints, belong to a medium-high socio-economic group, over 30 years old, the same ones that present dependent personality symptoms , insecure and emotionally unstable.
