Abstract

Theoretical, conceptual and empirical frameworks of well-being warn; 1) the incidence of environmental, interpersonal and subjective factors; 2) the intrapersonal dimensions such as; optimism, commitment. meaning, positivity and achievement as indicators that reflect well-being; 3) the association between intrapersonal and intersubjective factors such as altruism, affinity, austerity or cooperation. A model of the reflective dependency relationships between welfare, its dimensions and indicators were specified. A documentary study was carried out with a selection of indexed sources in repositories of Latin America considering the variables of the global, national and local context. The specified model included two hypotheses regarding the intrapersonal and intersubjective dimensions inferred by the supposed correlations between affinity, commitment, optimism, achievement, austerity, positivity, altruism and cooperation. Because welfare studies have not addressed the influence of the media in the establishment of a water supply and tariff schedule, it is necessary to include the variables of hyperopia, need for information and helplessness in a comprehensive model that explains scenarios of public policies, conflicts and welfare.
