Abstract

In 2016, they have been met 125 years of existence of Economic Kitchen created in Santiago de Compostela. This social project was intended to provide the humblest Santiago's the possibility of feed well daily, and at a low cost. This was a unique and transformative initiative for this city, hosting with the same spirit of compassion and love for others. This research addressed from a historical and descriptive perspective, is based on the minutes of the kitchen kept in his office, as well as publications of the newspapers of the time.
