Abstract

The legal pluralism is showed as an alternative to monism in search of new forms
of access to the justice. The aim of the study was to conduct an integrative review
of the literature. It was carried out an reference search in the CAPES Periodicals
and Google Scholar databases in March 2022. The search has identified 18
articles that met the established criteria. According to the data analysis, it was
possible to verify 100% of the articles point to legal pluralism as a social fact and,
thus, must accompany the diversities and the most varied ways of living in
society. Therefore, it was possible to conclude that community-participatory
pluralism stands out in Brazil, which implies a sociological change to mitigate the
absolute exclusivity of the State, thus enabling an emancipatory alternative for
the excluded and effective access to justice to guarantee rights humans.
