THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN WITH DISTRESS OF THE DEFICIT OF ATTENTION WITH HYPERACTIVITY THROUGH THE VISUAL ARTS FOR SIGNIFICANT LEARNING: AN INTEGRATING LITERATURE REVIEW

The present work aims to present an integrative review on the development of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) through the visual arts for meaningful learning. Thirty-three papers were selected among dissertations, theses, articles and books. For the search the BDTD - Brazilian Digital Library of theses and dissertations, scielo, google academic and queries to physical libraries was used as database. The methodology of this integrative review is a qualitative research and with quantitative data on the process of seeking the integrative review. As main results the importance of using the visual arts as tools in the development of hyperactive children for a meaningful learning contribution. It is concluded that it is possible to contribute with relevant information that will help in understanding the contribution of the visual arts in the development of children with ADHD, aiming at a meaningful learning in which the school faculty must be fully involved in a daily practice, searching for new strategies through of continuous training and applying them in the classroom, observing the profile of the children and aiming to insert into their practice what is meaningful for them.
