BIDDING, PUBLIC POLICIES AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Keywords:
Bids, Public policy, Development, SustainabilityAbstract
The present article seeks to approach the bids as public policies for the promotion of sustainable development and implementation in Brazil of the Sustainable Development Objectives (ODS) established by Agenda 2030. The method of approach is essentially qualitative, counting on bibliographic and documentary research techniques. It can be seen that bids have the essential characteristics of a public policy and have the potential to consolidate sustainable practices. It is concluded that the bids, according to Law 8.666/1993, as amended by Law 12.349/2010, constitute a true public policy for the sustainable development and implementation of the ODSs foreseen in Agenda 2030, exercising the Public Administration great power of influence in the delineation of productive matrices ecologically correct and rational, it has, however, that the practice of sustainable biddings is minimal.
