Does children's literature can promote critical reflection on the prejudice of gender and of social class? Do the artists who are not in the great creative centers, can from the province realize aesthetic proposals that interpellate to the literary centrality of the Eurocentric canon? This paper will analyze the representation of gender violence in a farce of an act, La noche de la Cenicienta (2000), in the "La Rana Feroz" collection, by Luis Alcocer Guerrero, who has entered on the circuit of the literary communication as a story, read by pre-adolescents.
