Abstract
The purpose of the study was to understand the investigative experiences of teachers in Peru in times
of pandemic, the product of research carried out under a qualitative approach with a
phenomenological method. 11 professors who carry out research in education, doctoral students from
a private Peruvian university, were selected. A semi-structured interview containing seven open
questions was conducted. The findings indicate that teachers have gone through their investigative
experiences with dedication and perseverance, adapting to the new normality, overcoming
technological barriers, sharing investigative activities with those of the home and family. They have
felt more time to investigate and interact with other researchers, facing difficulties such as lack of
socialization, staying at home for long periods, which has generated stress and discomfort. In
technological matters there are teachers who are constantly overcoming the fear of research, learning
to interact in virtual media and adapting to change in technological media
