COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE IN AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDERS (ASD)

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to address the issue of communication and language in people with the condition of autism. It is mainly the compilation of studies of several authors who have tried, through their research, to show how this group of people with ASD develop and make use of communication and language. The aim of this document is that the reader can understand the communication and language basis and construction in people with ASD today, from the theory. This is in order to try to clarify the concepts and approach the difficulties that the autism spectrum disorders present in this fundamental area for the human being. This article addresses all types of audience; it tries to be informative and to contribute to the educational area in the broadest sense of the word. It is necessary that the starting point should be to know what the autism spectrum disorder is in order to understand it.
