GENRE PESPECTIVE IN HEALTH OR VIOLENCE SERVICES?
Keywords:
Behavior, Health, Health Services, ViolenceAbstract
Health and violence, qualities that structure-de-structure human life, are two elements that can make institutions moments for the creation and recreation of life or, on the contrary, for its gradual or abrupt destruction. A redefinition of both concepts is proposed, starting from an antagonistic reference. With this framework, the theoretical scope and practical landing in specific interventions are analyzed, focusing on the mediation that the gender perspective offers to such a task. Given that violence and health are categories analyzed by the antagonistic sense that they have among themselves, depending on how they determine the human quality of life, this is towards life that is lived with justice and dignity, resignifying them allows to verify, at different levels of analysis and in different scenarios, when health care services function as health services or, on the contrary, function as violence services.
