Abstract

This article aims to understand the role of the psychopedagogue in education as a social process integrated to the development between family and school in early childhood education. Thus, the school, as a social institution, becomes responsible for the transmission of historically accumulated and systematized knowledge during the development of civilization. Childhood is the phase in which the individual develops their skills and competences, being the kindergarten of extreme importance for the integral formation of the individual. As in school, education also occurs in other social institutions, such as the family, where from the earliest moments of life the child is educated informally, learning norms, habits and values that will guide their conduct throughout their existence. However, a quality education seeks the contributions of the psychopedagogue to favor the relationship between school and family, aiming at the development of children through the integration between school education and education conducted in the family environment. The relationship between school and family from the perspective of reflection and action, seeking pedagogical procedures that favor the integration of both involved in the educational process through early childhood education with the fundamental support of the family.
