THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCHOOL COORDINATORS THROUGH COACHING

Coaching is a very current methodology that can be used in several areas such as career, personal, emotional, sports, weight loss and others. Its main objective is human development through self-knowledge, skill development and skills through effective techniques and tools. The objective of this work was to present this tool for the education area, providing the development of coordinators of technical courses of a private institution so that they could discover all the potentialities they possess and develop their work more fully, keeping in mind the importance of their activity, the result of their work, but mainly, having other options of development, besides the traditional formations. As results we found that the coaching process also offered new tools for these professionals to act in their daily activity, thus having more resources to understand and deal with the different profiles of students and people in general and also getting a new look about themselves and about the world around you. As a methodological research tool we used the technique of data collection through structured questionnaires and the quantitative data analysis technique
