Abstract

A priority reflection over on the importance of training of those people who exercising care and attention to children who are accommodated in houses custody or group home, for two specific reasons: first, for being directly responsible about childrearing practices transmission on children, when the state has ceased to its parents that right; second, because it is imperative to recognize that caregivers require specific training on the care given to institutionalized children. This paper proposes some considerations about training. Furthermore, it is emphasized that any intervention related to child care requires analyzing the uniqueness of the context and the population served as an essential principle.
