Abstract

General objective: Systematize and analyze, through discourse analysis, the newspaper Brecha, a publication made only by women from 1962 to 1965, to make its characteristics more visible, expand the meaning of its contents and identify its relationship with the context of the time. Methodology: The work will be presented in two parts. In the first one, the context of the sixties will be located and the characteristics of Brecha will be located, which will result in the systematization of the publication. Subsequently, through the elaboration of a proprietary model, the holders of all the Brew numbers that were published will be analyzed (34). The model will follow Juan Nadal Palazón's proposal of syntactic identification of constant formal features and variable formal features. In the first, bimembration, ellipsis, nominal structures and historical present will be addressed. In the second, the third impersonal person and the initial verb. In the qualitative level, part of the analysis scheme proposed by Silvia Gutiérrez Vidrio will be followed in two areas: the macro discursive that includes the macro acts of speech in three categories: description, interpretation and appreciation and the reconstruction of the conditions of speech production that answers five questions: who is the speaker of the speech? Who is your speech addressed to? What are you talking about? Where do you speak? And at what moment does the speech emit? This last question will link the discourse analyzed with the political, economic and socio-cultural context of the time. Results: The production conditions of the newspaper Brecha show a close relationship with the events of the time, both nationally and internationally. The identification of macro speech acts manifest a marked tendency to assess and evaluate events. The category of appreciation is recorded in almost 64 percent of the holders, while the description occupies 27 percent and the interpretation the remaining 9 percent. In the syntactic field, the use of constant formal features and variable formal features was identified. A 50% percent of constant formal features were registered when using the category of nominal structures, expressed in unitary headings what reaffirms the principle in the headlines of linguistic economy and the use of nouns instead of verbs..
