THE DIMENSIONS OF TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT. A LOOK FROM THE LOCALITIES

The study analyzes the dimensions of territorial development based on the theoretical approach and its applications, we turn to specialized literature, which includes approaches and practices, their discussions and implementation processes in the territories; also some documents published by development agencies. Thus, an analysis and explanation is made from the inputs in each dimension of territorial development. The findings show that there is a relationship between them. However, it is observed that they are applied separately and not systematically; From this, a model is presented in which all the dimensions that can have as a result, the development of communities, as long as there is the participation of development actors and agents.
