THE LIFE TRAJECTORY OF AN ANGOLAN, BLIND AND BLACK MIGRANT CHILD IN BRAZIL

Abstract

The present work aims to bring elements for a narrative reflection of the multiple
vulnerabilities experienced by a migrant child, black and blind, coming to Brazil
unaccompanied by their family members to study and survive. This trajectory is
described from narrative of one of the authors, with the narrative method, in order
to expose the weaknesses pointed out by him during his coming to Brazil and his
stay in the country. The narratives identify the barriers that children may
encounter in the migratory process, and how society is not prepared for the
inclusion of people with visual impairments. These questions are analyzed
through the reports by the experience of one of the authors, and in the light of
bioethics.
