Abstract

The article that follows, aims to show a summarized analysis of the particularities of didactics as a
science, and its necessary mesh with the affective elements to be considered within the new curricular
networks. In this regard, he resorts to the evidence through a sample applied to some groups of
university students, which reveals the existing problems in Peruvian higher education, when trying to
apply the main didactic functions to a system that still tries to subsist with their old schemes within
current social changes, and that is not in correspondence with the needs of these times. The authors
do not offer rigid and uniform formulas or recommendations; the study concludes that, conceived on
dialectical and humanistic bases, it tries to find a fair balance between the cognitive and affective
components.
