Abstract

The consumption of drugs increases when there is legalization of belonging and consumption in the citizens, there is also the justification of consumption by medication, the damage that occurs in adolescents is irreversible. The objective of the present research is to identify the possible risk factors that lead adolescents to consume licit and illicit drugs in adolescents in urban areas and in rural areas. Methodology. It is a bibliographical documentary research, of cross-section descriptive type, Results It is important to highlight that study of this nature within a socio-cultural perspective expresses the attempt to understand the risk factors for the use of alcoholic beverages and tobacco and to face the environmental influences in the family environment with a view to preventing future cases of dependency. The family is determined as a factor of influence, like their peers, the level of education, socioeconomic and psychological and affective, poverty and unemployment of parents, infidelity of parents and others. Conclusions: It has become a difficult task to reduce the consumption of drugs, despite the participation of parents and authorities, it is confirmed that it is a result of a social disease.
