BURNOUT SYNDROME IN TEACHING ACTIVITY: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

The mental health of the professional who works with teaching has been an increasing target of several researches over time, because with the new social requirements, there is a change in the profile of the teacher. Nowadays a huge range of skills and competences are required for the field of the profession, which usually leads to the accumulation of responsibilities. It is precisely in this moment and under this aspect that the labor practice is source of illness. This article proposes a integrative review of the literature on occupational stress and Burnout Syndrome in teaching activity.
