Abstract

Social Inclusion in Colombia is a response to phenomena of social exclusion and can be defined as a series of strategies inherent in multiculturalism. Similarly, inclusive education is given in order to rethink education systems to respond to the specific needs of society. The Ministry of National Education (MEN) within the Guidelines for Inclusive Education (2013) has prioritized some groups as vulnerable, among them are, people with disabilities, ethnic groups, population victim of armed groups demobilized in process reintegration and inhabitants of border; these groups will range from a gender approach that involves (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI)), these groups are not the only ones who could have connotation vulnerable, however, the inclusion of these groups within the community guarantee coverage of the student population.
