TROMBONES AND TUBAS ASSEMBLY AGUASCALIENTES (ETTA): THE PROMOTION OF MEXICANS SERIOUS METALS THROUGH MUSICAL EDUCATION OF ITS PEOPLE

Abstract

The Aguascalientes Trombone Ensemble had its start in 2007. However, it was in 2010 that it began its process of regional consolidation. In 2013, with the attachment of three tuba players, the group gained its new name "Aguascalientes Trombone and Tuba Ensemble". Today the aim is to bring together enthusiasts, students and music professionals who have basic knowledge of the trombone or tuba, who want to exchange musical experiences. In addition, this project involves several secondary objectives, such as: the artistic development of its members, the promotion of the trombone and tuba, the socio-musical fellowship and the musical education of its members and the community. This research is based on programmes of presentations that this group has presented, on their Facebook page and also in interviews with the directors of the same. The results achieved in this short time of existence are excellence, population today considers the Ensemble as an important piece to the development socio-musical of its citizens.
