The war is a phenomenon social ancestral and complex, so they have been of a heterogeneous nature; however, a historical constant In the various war conflicts has been the presence physical or symbolic animals that belong to different species and who have been granted various strategic missions by providing services such as fundamental part of the combat team, such as crawlers, messengers and even as war-specific weapons in addition of play an important role the symbolic. Culturally as war is another modality of contact and of use of fauna, the participation of animals is examined in order to provide elements to vindicate the intrinsic and aggregate value that they have had in our lives
