EFFECT OF THE FLOOR IN THE LOWER LIMBS OF THE VOLLEYBALL PLAYER: A REVIEW ABOUT THE JUMP

The objective of the review article was to present the effect of the floor in the lower limbs of the volleyball player during the takeoff and in the landing. The volleyball player practices the vertical jump during the block. But in the attack and in the jump serve the volleyball player practices the vertical jump, the oblique jump and the horizontal jump, this depends of the moment of the game. The lower limbs of the volleyball players suffer with the impact force during the takeoff and in the landing of the jump. However, there are several methods to lessen the impact of the jump of the volleyball player, being the following: use volleyball shoes, the ankle brace reduces the impact of the floor and some types of technical training and/or situational training, it is recommended to use rubber mat to lessen the impact of the jump. The type of floor that the volleyball player practices their sport can affect your lower limbs. The type the floor can be more or less the injury. The types of courts most used in Brazil are the sand (3% of injury), of board (4,7 of injury) and of concrete (37,5% of injury), where the probability of injury in the lower limbs of the volleyball players is higher because the higher impact force. In conclusion, knowing the impact of the jump in the lower limbs of the volleyball players is important for the involved in volleyball prescribed the training with more carefully.
