Concern about access, retention and graduation of persons with disabilities in higher education is an issue of growing importance in democratic societies. But this is not just a problem of access, retention, graduation, human rights or how universities are restructured and transformed to live in social diversity, but also includes ingrained cultural practices of marginalization and social exclusion.
