PROFILE OF TRAINING FOR SPECIALIZED EDUCATIONAL SERVICE TEACHERS IN A REGION OF THE STATE OF BAHIA
Abstract
This paper aimed to know the training of teachers of Specialized Educational Assistance in the
municipalities of the Piedmont of Diamantina, Bahia. For the development of the study, a
questionnaire of closed questions was built, which served as an instrument for data capture, in this
case the opinions of the subjects about the questions that aim to address the category of vocational
training. Summarizing the findings: they are mostly graduates in Pedagogy but did not have
curriculum components with regard to Special Education; they took their undergraduate degree at
state public university and specialization in special and / or inclusive education in a private educational
institution; They often take short courses promoted mainly by the Municipal Departments of
Education, but mostly say they are dissatisfied with the offer of courses offered and claim that the
Secretariat gives the incentive but no longer offer help.
