Abstract

The training program in occupational health is presented, developed by the School of Workers Training "Priscila López", aimed at workers and their union representatives. We are interested in knowing the subjective evaluation of the participants of the Introductory Course in Occupational Health, without pretending to carry out an evaluation of its impact. The opinion of 64 students was probed, among whom were trade union delegates and prevention of the graphic workers sector. A favorable opinion is reported regarding the strategies and didactic resources of the facilitator; the actuality and practical use of the content; the contribution of the course to the strengthening of occupational safety and health competences; the identification of chemical risks, the understanding of current legal regulations; the preparation of risk maps; preventive action, promotion of health and safety at work, promotion of cooperation; Participation in the design of occupational health and safety programs and the presentation of complaints. The delegates suggested to expand issues of labor legislation, free time and recreation and occupational diseases. These results are inputs for the review of the contents and respond to the training needs in the area, felt by the workers.
