The author presents a proposal to design a system of monitoring, support and monitoring of the student during his educational trajectory in higher education, considering that in the pedagogical and sociological literature there is a large number of studies on the passage of students through institutions educational. During the stay of the student, in his career, you get varied information that should be very useful to generate support processes in order to optimize the curriculum and training processes as well as to support them vocationally. This implies having a characterization of the student and his formative journey in the educational institutions - academic trajectories - in interaction with his social and curricular experiences situated in context, which reveal the particular situation of these subjects. The analysis of these routes allows the timely detection of a number of variables susceptible to reinforcement and support, as well as the various inputs and outputs of the cohort, knowledge that contributes to the identification of the moment, the precise place and possible reasons why a student incurs delays, failing, repetitions or, on the positive side, a free course of those events.
