Academic management, Pedagogical training, Postgraduate, Impact, University processesAbstract
Satisfying the postgraduate demands of the Higher Education professionals implies an academic management characterized, essentially, by the relationship between the satisfaction that this process must give to the social needs and the possibility of raising the formative performance of the teachers. An approach to this process is made in the context of the Universidad de Oriente, as a way to direct the development of the academicacademic training of university professors. We propose a model and a strategy to raise the quality of scientificpedagogical training, which favors the transformation of university processes from a solid foundation of professional work. The results and impacts of the application of this theoretical-practical proposal are presented through the experiences of the Pedagogical Studies Center of the Universidad de Oriente, Cuba.
