VULNERABILITIES IN CESAREAN BIRTH IN BRAZIL: A BIOETHICAL ANALYSIS

This study aimed to analyze and correlate the types of vulnerabilities existing
in cesarean delivery in Brazilian women. The vulnerability analysis was
described and cataloged according to the definition criteria by Ayres et al.
(2006) and subdivided into individual, social and programmatic. Full texts were
retrieved, in Portuguese, English and Spanish from the five years, totaling 59
articles, articles were provided for full review, which resulted in 18 articles. As
descriptors we used the words “cesarean”, “nascer” and “Brazil”. The survey
of moral conflicts by cesarean sections can demonstrate that a multifactorial
process of moral conflicts can be a unique individualized process for birth so
that it can understand a unique process of distinct vulnerabilities even if it can
be a unique process of different vulnerabilities even if it can be a process one
respects the basics of autonomy, justice, beneficence and non-maleficence.
