THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FIRST PRIMARY MASON SCHOOL IN CHILE: A SECULAR PROJEC
Abstract
Education during the second half of the XIX century, constituted an important matter to understand the sociability
that comes from enunciations of Masonry members. These enunciations are about lieutenant sectors in terms
of an associative, inclusive and integrating principle. This principle was put into practice in the foundation of Blas
Cuevas school in Valparaiso, which has permitted to develop a value/cultural project of religious and secularizing
character in the port city
