CURRICULUM AND SOCIAL JUSTICE IN BRAZIL: POPULAR EDUCATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS
Abstract
This paper aims to present a reflection about a debate around the issues of diversity that a curriculum
can point out, highlighting possible curricular changes to be guided in relation to Social Justice and
the contribution of Education throughout the Historization of this process. To do so we will recover
the contradictions that guide the relationship between the universality of Human Rights and the
Diversity of the subjects for whom these curricula are directed.
