THE DIMENSION TECHNICAL-OPERATIONAL OF SOCIAL WORKER WORK IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL CONTEXT

This article is a dimension technical-operational analysis of Social Worker work in the public school context. Objective Identify their intervention and contribute to the resignification of the profession. It is taken as reference, some theoretical reflections approached by Guerra, Iamamoto, Almeida, Amaro, Valente, about a theme in focus. We seek a qualitative research of bibliographic and documentary nature, conducted through consultations in books, journals, journals and academic data, among other materials. In this direction, it’s sought the definition of the profession, its origin and evolution, while describing the history of technical-operational work at work as social workers in Brazil. It also reflects on the current reality of the world and its education and basic school strategy, from an emancipatory perspective. The process of interventional intervention of Social Workers at school can contribute to the development of the conservative and alienating educational pattern, present in the educational system, towards the emancipation of social standards, by means of socio-educational actions that arouse criticism, reflective thinking and attitudes of autonomy and citizenship.
