INCIDENCE OF SOCIAL PARTICIPATION IN THE REHABILITATION PROCESS BASED ON COMMUNITY, ON PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAMPLONA – NORTE DE SANTANDER

Abstract

The investigative process arise from the feeling need of the disabled people local government of Pamplona for having a
programme that meet its needs, gathering many sectors through the strategic alliances that allow give organized answer to
its priorities. Is here where the agreement to the World Health Organisation in 2004, the Rehabilitation Based in Community
is specified, which allows disabled people count on the Social Participation, which is defined as an active organised
committed and jointly responsible group, of the society actors in order to achieve common benefits; being essential for
systematic development of the democracy, as of a social group or organisation whose members favour the joint effort
participation of diverse actors who, cooperate for the construction of a required situation, finding a solution to matters that
benefit the society, declaring in this way that social participation is real.
