Copyright Policy
Author Rights
At Revista Inclusiones, authors retain all copyright over their works. The publication of an article in the journal does not imply the assignment or transfer of economic rights to the publisher. Authors maintain full ownership of their work and may freely dispose of it.
Publication License
By publishing in Revista Inclusiones, authors grant a non-exclusive license to the journal for the dissemination of their work under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This means that:
The author retains intellectual property ownership of their work.
Any user may share, copy, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the material for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author and the original publication, a link to the license is included (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), and any changes made are indicated.
The CC BY 4.0 license does not restrict the author in the subsequent use of their own work. Authors may republish, deposit in institutional repositories, share on academic networks, or include their work in compilations without requiring additional authorization from Revista Inclusiones, as long as the original publication is cited.
Third-Party Rights
It is the sole responsibility of the authors to obtain the necessary permissions for the reproduction of any third-party material included in their manuscript (images, tables, graphs, extensive texts, etc.). Authors must provide Revista Inclusiones with the documentation certifying such permissions prior to publication.
License Update for Previously Published Articles
All articles previously published under CC BY-NC 3.0 and CC BY-NC 4.0 have been relicensed to CC BY 4.0. This change benefits authors by increasing compatibility with international repositories and databases, enhancing the visibility and citation of their works.
If an author wishes to revert to their previous license, they may request this exception by sending an email to contacto@revistainclusiones.org, specifying the article number or DOI and the preferred license version.
Republication and Subsequent Use
If an article published in Revista Inclusiones is subsequently included in another publication, the details of the original publication must be clearly stated, including the complete reference, the DOI, and the link to the article in the journal.
