ORGANIZATIONAL VALUES AND PROFESSIONAL VALORIZATION: A STUDY ABOUT THE PERCEPTION OF PUBLIC EDUCATION AGENTS IN A CITY OF CEARÁ
Abstract
The study aims to identify the perception of public education agents about organizational values and
professional valorization, in a city of Ceará. A qualitative approach was adopted, where exploratory
and descriptive aspects were prioritized. The questions of the interview script of the organizational
values scale were adapted and semi-structured interviews were applied with representatives of each
professional category, and the data were analyzed considering the content analysis. The results
identified the conservatism associated with the search for control of schedules; the autonomy from
these attitudes of sharing collective knowledge; the hierarchy is related to the non-existence of a rigid
recognition for the fulfillment of tasks; the dominance is manifested by the search for excellence
through evaluation. Professional valorization is articulated to professional recognition. The
relationship between organizational values and valorization actions is in the improvement of the
employee's working conditions
