EVALUATION OF LABOR RISKS OF PUBLIC CLEANING WORKERS IN THE PROVINCIAL MUNICIPALITY OF CAJAMARCA, 2019
Abstract
Evaluate the occupational risks of public cleaning workers of the Provincial Municipality of Cajamarca.
We worked with a population of 42 workers, using a questionnaire validated by an expert judgment
with a reliability of 0.75 with the Kuder Richardson scale; Physical risk was assessed using noise
dosimetry using a sound level meter, dysergonomic risk using the ergonomic REBA (Rapid Entire
Body Assessment) method, and psychosocial risk using the questionnaire on psychosocial factors
validated in Peru. Results of 42 public cleaning workers, 50% are at a high level of dysergonomic
risk, 52% have a high level of psychosocial risk; 57% are exposed to biological risk; With regard to
physical risk, the worker is exposed to a high noise level for health. The studied workers are exposed
to a high occupational risk in the four studied areas.
