USES OF THE SLOPE FROM PRACTICES IN AGRICULTURE TO SIGNIFICANCE IN SCHOOL AND EVERYDAY
Abstract
The objective is to analyze the use of the slope through practices at a technical level in an Andean
agriculture context, in addition to highlighting the significance of the slope in a school and everyday
setting. It is supported by the theoretical constructs of Socioepistemological Theory (TSE), the
construction of mathematical knowledge through practices, the use of knowledge and significance. It
is a qualitative investigation; Documentary analysis is carried out in agricultural brochures for the
maintenance of platforms, construction of rural irrigation canals, in addition to the analysis of books
and archeology articles. In the school and everyday setting, interviews were conducted with
participants in these settings, in the setting of agricultural practices, the practice of measuring the
slope (mp) was identified, while in the school and everyday setting, various modes of significance of
the slope were identified.
