DIGITAL CONTENT AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE LIFESTYLE OF BOYS AND GIRLS: A SOCIAL PROBLEM1
Abstract
Technological and communication media enter homes with a purpose, entertainment and / or work,
generating economic, cultural, social, psychological and health changes. The best and most
susceptible consumers are young children. The present research aimed to know the lifestyles related
to digital content aimed at infants, through the participation of the parents themselves, reflecting on
the perception they have in their daily life before and during the covid-19 pandemic. Methodology with
a mixed approach, in stages, quantitative and qualitative data were collected. Mothers perceive
behavioral problems versus those that affect physical health. In addition, a reflection is made on the
time and economic expenditure devoted to technological and communication media, as well as the
importance of use for educational purposes and responsibility in digital literacy.
