THE INCLUSION OF THE GENDER PERSPECTIVE IN THE TRAINING OF SOCIAL WORKERS
Abstract
Social relationships are increasingly dynamic, making it a greater challenge for social workers to
respond to social problems and needs of a constantly changing community, which are the result of
cultural relationships in a historical setting- Therefore, this article examines whether the State Public
Universities in Mexico contemplate subjects that address the gender perspective in their curricular
maps of the Degree in Social Work. The methodological design used for this research is of a
quantitative type, with a level of exploratory, not experimental. Through the use of instruments such
as the notebook and checklists, the data obtained is concentrated in a matrix and analyzed in a
descriptive statistical way with the use of spreadsheets. The purpose of this work is to expose the
precariousness of gender subjects in the training bases of the Degree in Social.
