REFLECTIONS ABOUT SOCIAL DESIGN AND ITS CONTRIBUTION IN TERMS OF INCLUSION
Abstract
In last years, the practice of design has achieved a high visibility in Argentina, denoting a significant integration
of this activity to everyday life.
This process of design’s development is the result of two situations certainly imbricated: on one hand, the
expansion of numerous self-entrepreneurships related to design of products that emerged in the public scene
during the last decade in our country, and, on the other hand, in a macro global context, the meaning that design
achieved in a post-industrial productive model, more oriented to the qualitative dimension of products than to
their own quantity
